Meet Our Team! Mick Griffin
Mick joined GetResponse in February 2009, bringing great sales, marketing and customer relationship management experience to the GetResponse Team. Now he’s focused on defining his role as Key Account Manager, and works day and night to ensure a flawless customer experience.
Mick is 25 years old and was born in Manchester, England. He spent most of his younger years playing Rugby, turning pro at the ripe old age of 16! For the next 4 years, Mick travelled around the world representing Great Britain, with destinations like France, Australia, and Hong Kong stamped on his passport. Following his whirlwind pro career, Mick logged 6+ years experience in Sales and Marketing, working for global giant ADT Fire and Security and the high-flying UK recruitment agency PrimeTime. But when Mick had an opportunity to use both his marketing and rugby skills in a new job, he jumped at it! He became the Area Development Manager for Rugby in Manchester and it was there that he became interested in the fast-moving, competitive e-commerce sector. He took a position with the Super Affiliate Spear.co.uk., which eventually led him here, to GetResponse!
Mick’s passion for everything Internet and for international travel has not gone unnoticed, and GetResponse didn’t hesitate to use it to their advantage! Few weeks ago, he was in Paris attending the Ad-Tech conference, forging new relationships, getting the latest in online trends and industry news, and trying out some new tools.
We’re glad to have Mick onboard, and appreciate his “can do” team spirit. Speaking of teamwork, Mick married his beautiful wife Patrycja September 08 and they now live in the coastal town of Gdynia, Poland, not far from GetResponse headquarters. Mick spends his free time learning the language, taking in the culture, and yes, “long walks on the beach!”
