Agree with your statement. Can you imagine how long it would take to create blog posts, articles, forum posts, audios, and videos – all with 100% original content? Just not enough hours in the day!

Plus, people differ in their preferred learning style. I prefer reading. My son, however, is dyslexic so audio or video is the preferable channel for him.

I have to agree with you on the idea of repurposing content. In fact I would say that this should become defacto as a strategy as marketing activities now deliver across so many channels.
