GetResponse makes 1ShoppingCart integration simple!
Mick GriffinWe know that our email marketing customers use a variety of e-commerce platforms for their online sales, and that’s it’s critical for them to connect immediately with the customers they’ve just converted. We are pleased to announce that GetResponse customers now have the ability to integrate 1ShoppingCart with their GetResponse Email Marketing Account!
Just follow these 2 simple steps to automatically include new customers in the GetResponse campaign of your choice.
1) Login to your 1ShoppingCart account and go to the
Setup > Orders Section.

2) Put the name of your GetResponse campaign followed
by +1shoppingcart@getresponse.com into either Primary
Destination or Secondary Destination Order Notice Email.
That’s it! We do the rest! Now let’s review some tips and info to get you off to a good start.
Tip: If you don’t want your customers to receive confirmation emails, make sure that the ‘Confirmed Opt in’ setting is disabled for email subscriptions. If you want to send confirmed opt-in emails, don’t forget to personalize your message to make a good first impression!
Notes: As 1ShoppingCart doesn’t allow you to assign different order notice email addresses to different offers, we had to find a way to capture the product information. But hey, we’re GetResponse…Problem Solved.
Every time someone places an order via 1ShoppingCart, our system adds to the selected campaign not only the customer’s name and email, but also the name of the product the customer purchased. Information held in this custom “product” field lets you determine which subscriber bought product A and which bought product B, etc.
Tip: It’s important to note that the “Save Group As” feature lets you segment your list using the custom information. So, depending on the product info, you can send personalized offers, manage subscribers (copy/move to other campaigns), etc., providing yet another data source to improve your targeting.
We hope that you find 1SC integration useful and take these easy steps to implement today!
