The GetResponse team knows it’s important for us to be “out there” as much as possible meeting and interacting with our customers and industry colleagues. This gives us a chance to hear what people are thinking both about GetResponse and the email marketing industry in general. We get constructive feedback and we get perspective from those who use GetResponse email marketing every day.
Last week we exhibited at HostingCon 2012 in Boston. The event which focuses on the hosted services industry (web hosts and related services) is celebrating its 8th anniversary and draws a good crowd of industry insiders and clients numbering about 2000.
We love interacting with our users!
People who came by the booth had lots of positive and insightful comments and suggestions about what GetResponse is doing and questions about what we are working on. The most exciting thing about HostingCon 2012 for us was having the opportunity to make connections with a range of companies and organizations looking to either integrate and/or partner with the world’s easiest email marketing solution to enhance the customer experience.
Jim Ducharme and Mick Griffin wrap up HostingCon 2012
After a great event, Mick and myself found ourselves 50 stories above Boston at the wrap party talking about the GetResponse buzz at HostingCon 2012.
GetResponse gave away a big screen TV!
It’s was also a lot of fun to give away a big screen TV to Kelly O’Hara of Lycos! Especially since Kelly told us she hadn’t bought a TV since the eighties!
Bean Town rocks!
Finally, a tip of the hat to the organizers of HostingCon and the wonderful people of Boston! HostingCon had the unfortunate luck to happen right in the middle of a scorching heat wave and yet, even in the oppressive heat and humidity, everyone we met was welcoming and helpful. I may have lost about 5 pounds in the heat, but I gained a lot of appreciation for a wonderful town and a great event!
