OK, great, thanks. But one thing I need to know more, what is an editorial calendar and how to use it as a means of advertising or for advertiser?

Hello,

I came to your website wanting an email marketing service I can subscribe to. Though I'd known your company for years and even used the free version.

In the process of moving round your site I stumbled upon your blog - I can see it's filled with tons of idea for growth and making more money.
Thanks for sharing this email segmentalization strategies. Will really help me add more power to the campaign I am planning to roll out this week end. :)

"OK, great, thanks. But one thing I need to know more, what is an editorial calendar and how to use it as a means of advertising or for advertiser?"

Hi Albanus,

If you click the link in the above article, Smart Money's Editorial Calendar, you will see an example of an editorial calendar published by that magazine.

Editorial calendars are often included in media kits for people interested in advertising in a particular magazine. This information can also be used for article submissions.

For instance, if you sell a product on how to grow antique roses, you might
get the editorial calendar for "The English Garden", to see if they will have a special issue on roses or antique flowers. This would be an excellent vehicle to promote your product, either by advertisement, press release, or article submission.

Albanus, I'll discuss this topic in more depth in the weeks to come. Editorial calendars can not only be utilized in the above way, but also help build content for your own newsletter!
