Hi Jacky,

You didn't say whether your newsletter was double or single opt-in. That will make a difference, as many people will not confirm (double opt-in). However, if they do, they are pretty interested in you and your message!
If you are using double opt-in, a 1.5% confirmation rate is probably not bad.

After visiting your site, let me make a few suggestions for some things you might test. (Please note: I am NOT - by any means - a conversion expert. This is just based on first impressions at your site!).

1. Move your opt-in box higher. I'd test it above your nav bar on the right.

2. Make ONE offer. When I visited, you were offering a free game, plus listed two games at 35% off. You might try promoting one thing, or saying something like "Free and Discounted Games!".

3. Your site is very colorful and your newsletter box tends to blend in. In addition to moving the location, you should have it stand out more.

4. Great job at putting your opt-in front and center on your interior (game) pages. Again, I'd rather see a nice headline and subhead then describing everything that is in there.

Also, if I already had the games you mentioned, it would be a DISINCENTIVE. There would be no advantage for me to opt-in.

Again, Jacky, the only way you'll know for sure is by testing. Hope this gets your creative juices going!

I am using the getresponse.com service now, i have a game site for casual gamers at http://www.bdstudiogames.com, they can download all these games freely at my site.

At present, i provide a free full version of game to incent the visitors subscribe our newsletter, as my point, about 1.5% visitors subscribe our newsletter, i think they figure is too low, i just want to make it more higher, but i have no idea what should i do now. Can someone has any ideas?

This is very good technique to increase sign-ups in our programs.
Newsletters and offering incentives is very good thought to attract people
and get more sign-ups.

Hello Everyone,

Can Anyone tell me...

How I can send visitors directly to my autoresponder?
Do I use my getresponse affiliate website link?

I have a getresponse 'page popup' on my blog, but...
Is there another 'getresponse URL that I could or should use
to send visitors straight to my autoresponder messages, when
I am posting Ads to safelists?
