Increasing your email productivity

If you are actively marketing on the Internet or doing just about anything online, you will find that your email address spreads all over the web in no time. Suddenly you are receiving dozens of emails every day, or if you are like me - even hundreds.

Handling an Inbox that stores hundreds or thousands of messages and consistently grows in size can be a real headache and a big frustration.

Managing email suddenly becomes a major challenge. The good news is that you can fight back and reclaim your inbox.

Email overload is a big problem for everyone doing business online. Instead of shrinking, our emails pile up, often burying important tasks and messages in the infinite e-junk yard.Problem is, it’s not just spam that’s killing us. Unfortunately it is also legitimate email that is destroying our productivity everyday.

What’s wrong with a bulging Inbox?

  • you lose track of your messages and fall behind in work because of emails piling up.
  • by letting your emails pile up you sub-conciously defer work that could (and should) be done right away, making it all more difficult to catch up later on… as more email piles up.
  • growing Inbox significantly increases the chance of “crash” that will nuke your entire inbox in a second.

So what can you do about it?

It’s simple, yet ultimately difficult: purge your inbox and keep it clean from then on.
