Welcome back to our series of helpful tips from small business customers! We believe there’s nothing more credible than one entrepreneur helping another, because they understand the challenges first hand.
So let’s review some new customer tips on how you can use GetResponse to grow your business faster and smarter than ever before.
What approaches engage audiences best?
Our guest this time is Kari Schneider, a Strength Coach, Athletic Therapist and Exercise Physiologist from Canada. We were curious what types of approaches a representative of the sports and fitness industry uses to engage their audiences. Is it unique, or are the best practices similar to yours?
- Build strong relationships. The more you reach out to subscribers with useful information, relevant products and services, and perhaps some occasional fun and entertainment, the more loyal your customers will be. Deliver value… and they’ll deliver the sales!
- Get constant feedback. Find out what your readers like (and don’t like) so you can build content and campaigns based on what’s interesting and useful to them. Simply survey them as it’s the best way to get feedback. This is absolutely essential to your email marketing ROI… no interest equals poor results.
- Have the knowledge to back your claims. Don’t send info and articles out to subscribers just because they interest you. Do your homework to make sure the information is accurate and appeals to customer preferences. If you want to appear like an expert in your field, do the research − don’t fake it!
- Make it personal. While people appreciate expert knowledge, they relate more to real experiences, personalized content and offers, and media like face-to-face audio-video messages. So use a personal approach, no matter what the content, and you’re more likely to increase CTRs and revenues.
Kari explained further: “I train high performance athletes and private clients to perform physically better in their sports and in life. I’m constantly teaching, holding workshops and clinics, as well as one-on-one training sessions. A major part of my service is sending newsletters to clients and athletes who are interested in learning more, but my time is limited. That’s why I use GetResponse… it’s fast, easy, and super effective.”
