Remember the old saying about how misery loves company? Well, success loves company too and if you ever need proof of this, just pop by the Warrior Forum, an online community dedicated to supporting and encouraging the entrepreneur in us all. Each day thousands of people looking for an escape from the rat race frequent this forum looking for help and advice from others who’ve already established themselves as successful online marketers.
Recently I found myself among some of the most passionate members of this thriving community at the Warrior Forum Live event in Raleigh North Carolina. Two hundred of them virtually took over a Holiday Inn to share their war stories and victories. Some of those victories are shared in this post as videos too.

As with any community, there are schemers, dreamers and achievers – it takes all kinds to make a community. Many of those in the latter category eventually start marketing their insight and techniques to others via WSOs (Warrior Special Offers). Despite some hype from the sellers, I wouldn’t be likely to believe that any one of these WSO’s would make you rich on its own. There’s no shortcut here. In fact, even with a community willing to share their knowledge, insight and support, internet marketing is a lonely run down a long, hard road. But the attractiveness of choosing your own path to travel makes the journey worthwhile for those with the drive to take those steps. And a community such as the Warrior forum is the starting line you get your map at and the water station along the way.
I’ve been spending quite a bit of time on the forum and I certainly haven’t found myself among a band of ruthless “Yankee traders.” That doesn’t mean it’s a choir of angels certainly. Buyer beware is a guiding mantra among marketing warriors and thinking for yourself a necessity, but I’m constantly impressed with how supportive and encouraging the members of this community are. Of course, internet marketing is not for the half-hearted.

Going on four years now the Warrior forum community has organized a live event which is much more than a simple meet-up. It’s a knowledge exchange and motivational seminar all wrapped up into one. This year GetResponse eagerly joined forces with the organizers as a platinum sponsor and off I went to meet 200 of our core customers face-to-face. I expected that as with any community, I’d meet all kinds and I have.
