Brand new Landing Page Creator

We showed you our Landing Page Creator on Thursday. Here’s what it looks like if you missed it.

Luckily, a lot of you seem not to have missed it at all. When we saw this morning that around a thousand landing pages had already been created in just four days, we were thrilled. What’s more, a hundred of them have been published on your Facebook pages (which can be done with a single click). This is definitely positive feedback for the whole Team. But now, we want more details!

Share your thoughts and landing pages

When we launch a new product or feature, we’re always curious about what our users think. Do you like the New Landing Page Creator? Do you enjoy using it? Is there anything we could improve? And finally, what do your landing pages look like? Oh yes, we want to know all of it. 😉

Join the discussion in the comments. Share the links to your landing pages made with our Landing Page Creator or comment on the functionality itself. Or both. 🙂 We’ll reward the best landing pages and the most insightful comments with cool GetResponse branded gadgets & T-shirts!

So, what’s your landing page?

If you need more guidance on creating landing pages, stay tuned for a special webinar next Monday. More details to follow soon!

    its awesome good design

Again, the new Landing Page Creator is an amazing addition to the GetResponse suite of features. I have yet to publish one myself YET, but I’ll share my perspective on what this means for the end user.

The Landing Page Creator is the perfect complementary feature. As a consultant, I see clients who not only struggle with email marketing and all it’s moving pieces, but they also struggle with getting leads in general. The LPC allows the most simple-minded individual to do so with ease. They don’t have to hire a designer, purchase some new (additional) software, or deal with managing multiple moving pieces. It’s all in one place, so right there you solved the issue of saving money, headache, and time.

It also allows new budding entrepreneurs to build a following without a website. The one-click Facebook tab is amazing. I was actually in the process of trying to figure out iFrame and all that other Facebook jargon. You’ve eliminated the pain associate with creating landing page for my Facebook page. More leads, less headache.

The addition of the LPC has turned GetResponse into an all-in-one lead generation/customer retention machine; without the headache and at a very affordable price.

Can’t speak for anyone else, but your brand and everything it encompasses is greatly appreciated. You have one of the few brands I look forward to having a relationship with for many reasons, the LPC being one of them.

Just realized I’ve been extremely long-winded so I’m going to stop now, but thank you GR Team!

  • If I buy the $15 a month plan, how much more is The Landing Page Creator?

  • Karolina Kurcwald

Hi, you don’t have to commit to the annual service. First of all it’s now available for 30 days free and later on, if you activate your subscription during our promo period, you’ll pay only 50% of the price (that’s $7.50 a month) for however long you want to use it.

  • Karolina Kurcwald

Hi James, if you buy during the holiday promo, you’ll be paying $7.50 a month (50% of the regular price) with the first 30 days free while if you decide on a 12-month account, you won’t have to pay anything extra for a year.

  • Karolina Kurcwald

Thanks Jamie, great points, I’ll take it to the Team. 😉

  • Jay

I’m trying to be optimistic, but again, there is a new editor that I have to learn with no tutorials and video to show me how everything works. For instance, How do I do linking; this should be straightforward, so why is this information hidden? So, If I want to redirect my customers via the submit button, how do I edit this?; I’m just clicking on things, hoping to stumble upon the answer. Also, is there a way to set a background photo image to be fullscreen? Is translucency supported? These are just a few questions so far but in order for me to invest, there should be some documentation. I’m so tired of looking all over the internet to find answers when it should be readily available to us. For me to invest my money, I really need to acquire information without constant email submit tickets, asking multiple questions on forums, and spending countless of hours searching for answers.

Hi Jay, We have good news for you, then – join us on Monday 17 December for a free webinar where the tool will be explained in detail and you’ll also get the chance to ask questions. You can register here: http://blog.getresponse.com/free-webinar-landing-pages-that-convert.html We’re also working on a detailed video tutorial as we speak – we’ll let you know once it’s available.

  • Maciej Górski

    Hello Jay,

I understand your confusion. That is why we took further steps and planed to air the exclusive webinar about the new GetResponse tool and the Landing Page idea itself.

I will be the host of mentioned webinar so I can assure you that you will get answers to all of your questions.

The Landing Page Creator is similar to our New Email Creator, so if you need any guidance about some features please feel free to look into our Learning Center and look into the PDF or Video tutorials about it. I believe that this would provide the help at this point while we are in the process of releasing the dedicated PDF and video for the brand new feature.

I hope to see you at the webinar on monday.

  • Karolina Kurcwald

  • I have not used it yet, but I was just thinking about this yesterday!

  • baldarab

Hi. Using this, and it’s great if your requirements are exactly in line with what you’ve set up. However, what is disappointing is the lack of configuration options, especially when you have some of these config options available in your Web Forms. For instance:
    (1) The ability to customise Thank You page destination is CRITICAL. I see on the forums here that A LOT of people keep asking for this, and it’s no surprise – this is really important if you want to try to convert / upsell. It’s a pity as this is available on your Web Forms, but not on Landing Pages, and I can’t even use the HTML from the Web Form, as Landing Pages don’t support JS, so your Web Form code won’t work on your own Landing Pages.
    (2) The ability to customise buttons easily. I know these can be changed by going into the HTML, but it should be possible to do this from your WYSIWYG design interface.
    (3) The ability to make fields mandatory, optional, or disappear altogether. Again, this can be customised in your HTML, but it should be within the design interface.
