You’ve probably noticed we really value your feedback. So we listened to all our customers’ comments and requests, and decided it was time for a change. A huge change.

You’ve seen us add features like webinars and marketing automation. But we knew we could do even more to make GetResponse your complete marketing platform. As well as more user-friendly. Or as I like to say, people-friendly.

So our brilliant UX designers, developers, product managers, content strategists, and marketers have worked hard for months to make that happen.

The new GetResponse isn’t just better looking. We’ve completely redefined the way we think about GetResponse and online marketing. In fact, we’ve built a brand new platform to bring you a fully integrated, all-in-one online marketing software experience.

Customer Relationship Management tool (beta)

In 1998, our CEO Simon Grabowski launched GetResponse as a simple autoresponder service. Then it became an email marketing platform. We later added landing pages, webinars, and marketing automation.

But one big part of the online marketing puzzle was missing. Until now. We’re thrilled to show you the beta version of our new CRM system – part of the new GetResponse platform.

UPDATE: We’ve rolled out the new GetResponse to a large group of customers in several languages

The new GetResponse is now available in 11 language versions, including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and more. We’re currently working on all the other language versions available in GetResponse, so stay tuned!

This includes both existing accounts, and all new ones set up from now on (including free trial accounts).

UPDATE: We’ve rolled out the new GetResponse to the first lucky group

Yay! It’s finally happening – today, the first group of selected customers, including those of you that signed up for beta tests last week, will be able to make the switch to the new GetResponse. Not in this group and can’t wait to try it yourself? Don’t worry – we’ll be rolling it out to all paying customers (who use the English version) all throughout June.

We’re now entering the phase of heavy testing with the invaluable help of some of you, our customers, and will be collecting your feedback to make sure the product exceeds your expectations. If you’re among those who got early access to the new GetResponse, let us know what you think in the comments below. If you’re still waiting, let us know your expectations!

 

What you need to know

I know you probably have lots of questions. So I’ll answer a few for you:

  • We’ll be rolling out the new interface gradually over the next few months. We’ve started in June with US English accounts, and we’ll be releasing other language versions by the end of 2017.
  • Want to see it sooner and be a beta tester? Just sign up using the form below.
  • You can still use the old version, while we beta test the new one. And you can switch back at any time (but I don’t think you’ll want to!) UPDATE: For newly setup accounts, only the new version is available from now on.
  • You’ll pay the same for your account as you do now.
  • During the beta phase, you can keep using the CRM tool with your paid account. To keep using it after we’re out of beta, you’ll need at least a Pro account.
  • Multi-user access will not be available in the new interface until the beta phase ends. For now, you’ll only be able to use it with the old version of GetResponse.
  • You might find some features missing or incomplete in the beta version. Don’t worry – we’re working to get everything ready for the final release.

    This is great. I like Get Response especially marketing automation and work flows. However, I have noticed couple of major issues (at least for me) that I’d hope you’d take care of: 1- GetResponse forms are not mobile friendly which is a surprise especially that it is now a must to have. 2- I’d like to see expiring links as part of GetResponse future features. This will be a great feature for marketing campaigns and limited time offers. Although, evergreen timers can help, still expiring links that can go into the email is key for me. I am looking for a solution for this but I have not been able to find one. Seems that deadlinefunnels.com has a solution but it is costly.

The expiring links seem like a perfect match with our current set of tools so I’m going to go ahead and pass it directly to our development team.     Hi Karolina, yes what I would like to see is affiliate tracking software system that tracks affiliate links for JV partners during launches or when they sell one of your programs/services. Systems similar to some of your competitors. Thanks!

    Congratulations! I have been with GR for quite a while now. Honestly saying, I am not super user. I pay for it, but only use occasionally to send newsletters. No blames here, only myself for not taking full advantage of it. This may be the reason I was not included in Beta or missed to sign up (?)
    At the moment I use free CRM with Hubspot, but it will be good to switch sometime in the future to GR when finances allows it. I love you guys and I will stay to support you. I hope to take advantage of everything in the near future.
    By the way, in one of Groups on FB people are crazy about AC and Drip. They recommend to each other, saying how advanced and easy they are and so on. I`m committed to GR. Great and always available Live Support and quick replies to emails. Besides, I think GR have enough features for my needs at the moment. I look forward to June and then soon renewal day too 😀

  • Hello. Was the BETA offered to existing clients? How did I miss this. I was about to downgrade but a CRM may make the difference – as I like to many other elements of GR (been around for a few years now). Please advice how to learn more about the BETA. thank you 🙂

    Exciting news to hear. I was in a holding pattern on various solutions. To be honest I never got to give the trial a fair shake due to time constraints – there were some things I liked about GR (particulaly the value/feature set) but in some cases the interface felt dated. The new interface looks encouraging. One thing I had suggested was a set of automation shortcuts/templates for various automation scenarios to make things a bit faster. Another suggestion was a porting service (paid or free) to help people migrate, contacts, forms, landing pages, funnels etc. Since the CRM is of interest as well, I was wondering if you have a web page which details the current beta features and proposed launch release features as well as some screen shots so can check it out more. CRM is both a centralized contact management tool but also a great way to track attribution and revenues from various marketing sources. Often some CRMs do one part well and not the other (weird contact screens for example) or don’t facilitate attribution tracking. Some do it pretty well, Zoho for example has a built in AdWords tracker which helps track leads down to the ad/cost level but of course they don’t come close in terms of email marketing automation, landing pages and other GR features. Can you elaborate a bit on the contact management screen as well as how we would be able to track and attribute revenues from various marketing sources?

    As mentioned in the post, at this point, you need to be on a paid account to test the new interface (and CRM), but we should be able to get it to everyone in September.

  • I’ve been testing out the new GetResponse. My single favorite feature appears to be missing, which is the Search Contacts box that searches both email address and name at the same time. That search box is so incredibly convenient and fast – I remember thinking “way cool!” the first time I tried it out. Will that search box be added to the new GetResponse?

    Been playing around with the new GetResponse, and I’m really liking it! GetResponse has stepped up their game to really make it an integrated marketing hub. The drag and drop dashboard is something I haven’t seen on the other marketing platforms where I can actually pick the widgets and move them around to suit my needs and get a fast birds-eye view. I’ve been using Trello and Streak CRM, but the GetResponse CRM tool looks just as good and has a nice clean interface.

    It’s nice to see that GR is taking the approach where everything is built around a centralized contacts database/list. I’m excited to give it a try and integrate it into my daily business workflow. I’m intrigued by the image in this blog post that appears that there is a way to feed contacts/customers from WooCommerce directly into GR and keep their data synced. Curious to see how to do that!

    The new Contacts screen is nice, my suggestion would be to add a global ‘search’ box at the top where I can type any e-mail or name and it returns in real-time a result (ajax) of the contacts matching that, no matter which list they are in. Right now you have to go through some advanced ‘conditions’ and select ‘name’ or ’email’ from dropdowns, too many clicks still. But that’s the only big thing I’ve noticed, the rest of the user experience is much better and greatly improved from the old GR! 🙂

    Feedback: When I click on Dashboard > Email Marketing, then click on any newsletter name, the loading spinner plays, then returns me to the same list. Same thing if I click on the newsletter’s menu icon at far right and click on “Re-use.” I’m pretty sure the newsletter selected should open up for full editing as in the former site. Hope you can correct this — I use this process every time.
